These kind words come from families I’ve had the honor of supporting through birth and beyond. Some share their experiences with my birth doula care, others reflect on lactation support and breastfeeding guidance, each story is a glimpse into the sacred, powerful work of nurturing new life and the families who bring it forth.

I got connected with Rachael through my doula, as Rachael was going to be slated as my back up Doula and Lactation Consultant. I briefly met Rachael at a Community Baby shower before my birth, and that brief interaction gave me everything I needed to know about her. Her bubbly personality just left me feeling so confident that if she did end up being my doula, I would be in good hands. Well one thing led to another and Rachael ended up being the one there with my husband and I to help bring our baby into the world! She coached my husband and I through the process, supported every decision I made, asked me the right questions and helped me get to the right answers for me, and acted as a photographer after baby arrived. After that, Rachael stepped into her other role as lactation consultant. Literally, she has been a godsend for my little girl and I when it comes to feeding. The first couple days were fine, but then things got difficult. Rachael helped us get my little girl diagnosed with ties, connected us with the right team to get them fixed, connected us with a chiropractor to help get my little girl adjusted, and all around helped set us up for success when it came to feeding! I really can’t thank Rachael enough for all of her help she has given me since she arrived in my hospital room that night! We are now several weeks postpartum and I still tell everyone how much Rachael has helped us get to where we are.
If you’re questioning utilizing a doula, definitely recommend it. If you are considering having Rachael on your side, you won’t regret it.

My husband and I are so grateful to have found Rachael. I had fully prepared for the birth and hadn't prepared at all for the breastfeeding journey. Rachael was a referral from our midwife and thank goodness! She came over 10 days after our baby boy was born and was immediately able to tell us that he had a lip and tongue tie which is why breastfeeding was a struggle. After revising that, we had another consultation where we did a weighted feed, checked his latch and things had significantly improved. Rachael was super available through call/text when I had questions and I felt such a relief to have her in our corner. Breastfeeding has improved so much for our little boy and I and continues to get better every day. Thank you so much Rachael!

Rachel was literally a God sent. She is patient, kind and so knowledgeable. She made me and my baby girl feel so comfortable. It was because of Rachel my husband and I were able to find a highly recommended doctor to remove our baby's tie. I absolutely recommend Rachel for all things related to nursing.
